Living in an apartment is like planning a wedding every year.

So today I had to move up my move-in date for the new apartment to the 22nd of March (signing the lease on the 21st) instead of the 29th of March.  This will give me a week to take my time, get cable people out, etc and the movers are cheaper during the week than the weekend.  I now have them coming out on Thursday instead of Saturday which is better because that Sunday is the Opening Day for softball and since I'm on that committee I'm sure it will be a crazy weekend.

I swear - three ring circus.

Also - because money is going to be tight and there's fun stuff like all the one-time-fees Comcast likes to charge just to give you service I've gone ahead and done my budget through May to see where I need to skimp on money to make it available later.

It doesn't help that right in the middle of all this is a trip to Atlanta for my birthday.  I'll do that trip come hell or high-water and I've already paid for the airfare so really the only expense will be the rental car.  Since my grandmother is in the hospital/nursing home/assisted living now I'm sure most of my time will be spent there which keeps me from spending money.  Thank god for a hefty tax return!
